On November 7, at the invitation of H.E. Ambassador Lei Kezhong, Hon. Dr. Moeketsi Majoro, Minister of Finance of the Kingdom of Lesotho paid a visit to the Chinese Embassy in Maseru. H.E. Lei and Hon. Majoro exchanged views on bilateral practical cooperation. Mr. Ma Guoliang, Economic and Commercial Counselor of the Chinese Embassy, also attended the meeting.

H.E. Ambassador Lei appreciated Hon. Majoro's dedication and contributions in pushing forward the development of China-Lesotho friendship and bilateral cooperation. He expressed that China would like to take the implementing of the Belt and Road Initiative incepted by the Chinese President H.E. Mr. Xi Jinping, the outcomes of the Beijing Summit of the Forum on China-Africa Cooperation (FOCAC) and the consensus reached by the leaders from both countries as an opportunity, and to promote the bilateral cooperation in various fields to achieve more benefits.

Hon. Majoro spoke highly of bilateral relations and expressed gratitude to China for the assistance to Lesotho over the years. He wished to work together with Ambassador Lei to promote the smooth implementation of projects on the bilateral cooperation between the two sides.
