Located in southern Africa, Lesotho is known as the Mountain Kingdom. Since the resumption of diplomatic ties between China and Lesotho in 1994, the bilateral relations have maintained a sound momentum of growth, with mutual political trust deepened, cooperation in various fields expanded and coordination in international and regional affairs increased continuously. China and Lesotho has been good friends and brothers treating each other with mutual-respect and equality.

China deeply values its relations with Lesotho. By taking advantage of implementing of the outcomes of the 2018 FOCAC Beijing Summit and the important consensus reached by our leaders during the summit, China will continue to work with Lesotho to expand the cooperation in various fields, and to make the China-Lesotho relationship a good example of bilateral relations featuring mutual respect, win-win cooperation, common development and equality of all countries regardless of their size.
