China Online Visa Processing System will be officially launched by the Chinese Embassy in Lesotho on March 31, 2025. Applicants could enjoy convenience of filling out the form and uploading materials online by using this system. The applicants can use personal email account to log in new system, filling in the application form online and upload the requirement materials. After the online audit is passed, the applicant comes to the embassy, presents the bar code of the application form on the spot, submits passport and other materials, and retains biological information such as fingerprints.

Starting from March28, the Chinese Embassy in Lesotho will stop using the Chinese Online Visa Application (COVA) filling system.If applicants who have already submitted an application in the Chinese Online Visa Application (COCA) prior to the upgrade, they could submit their materials on site by April 2 in the original way.
