On December 4, the Chinese Embassy in Lesotho held a seminar titled “Charting a New Blueprint for Chinese Modernization” at the National University of Lesotho. Counsellor Lu Hui, together with young diplomats, attended the event alongside approximately 40 representatives from Lesotho’s political parties, think tanks, media, and faculty and students of the university. The participants engaged in in-depth discussions on Xi Jinping: The Governance of China V and the guiding principles of the Fourth Plenary Session of the 20th CPC Central Committee.

Counsellor Lu read out a congratulatory message from H.E. Ambassador Yang Xiaokun, noting that the 15th Five-Year Plan outlines a new blueprint for Chinese modernization. He encouraged young people from China and Lesotho to learn from each other and contribute their youthful strength to advancing modernization in both countries.

Counsellor Lu also presented copies of Xi Jinping: The Governance of China V to youth representatives. The participants expressed that they had greatly benefited from the seminar and would actively study China’s experience and serve as envoys of China–Lesotho friendship.
