The Chinese Embassy in Lesotho Holds a Joint Meeting on Security Work

On July 19, the Chinese Embassy in Lesotho held a joint meeting on the security work of Chinese-funded enterprises and overseas Chinese associations in Lesotho. Ambassador Yang Xiaokun attended and delivered a speech. The heads of major Chinese-funded enterprises, overseas Chinese associations and the Chinese Medical Team in Lesotho, totaling 20 people, participated.

Ambassador Yang introduced the latest international and domestic development situations, as well as the China-Lesotho relations and the security situation in Lesotho. He called on everyone to further enhance security awareness and risk management capabilities, operate in compliance with laws and regulations, actively integrate into the local society, and contribute to the development of China-Lesotho relations. Ambassador Yang emphasized that the Embassy will continue to practice the principle of "diplomacy for the people", fulfill its duties, and spare no effort to safeguard the safety and legitimate rights and interests of Chinese citizens and institutions in Lesotho.

The representatives attending the meeting shared their experiences and measures in security work based on their production and living conditions in Lesotho. They expressed their determination to further enhance security awareness, actively fulfill social responsibilities, achieve sustainable and healthy development in Lesotho, and make greater contributions to the advancement of China-Lesotho relations.
