From October 24 to 25, Ambassador Yang Xiaokun visited the local Chinese community in the Mokhotlong District of northern Lesotho. During his visit, Ambassador Yang toured several supermarkets and warehouses operated by local Chinese, with a field visit of their living and business conditions, and listening to their concerns and difficulties.

He fully acknowledged the hardworking and courageous spirit of the local Chinese community, as well as their patriotic commitment to the motherland, their unity and solidarity. Ambassador Yang encouraged the Chinese community to continue promoting Chinese culture, live harmoniously with local residents, and make new contributions to the economic and social development of Lesotho and the friendship between our two countries.

The local Chinese expressed their heartfelt gratitude for Ambassador Yang coming afar to visit them, and promised that they would always keep motherland in mind, work together, abide by the law, integrate into and give back to the local community, contributing to the friendship between China and Lesotho.
