On Feb.11, 2020, His Majesty King Letsie III met with Ambassador of the People's Republic of China H.E. Lei Kezhong, and conveyed his condolence and support to H.E President Xi Jinping and the Chinese people on the Novel Coronavirus Outbreak in China.

H.M. King Letsie III highly commended the rigorous measures the Chinese government had taken to contain the Novel Coronavirus Outbreak under the leadership of President Xi, saying that these measures will protect the health and security of both Chinese people and people all over the world. His Majesty said Lesotho stands firmly together with China and believed that China will eventually win the battle against the epidemic.
