From 1 August 2018, all Chinese visa applicants will be required to provide their all 10 fingerprints according to Chinese relevant laws and regulations. Exemption from the obligation of fingerprints collections is applicable to the following applicants:

1．Applicants under the age of 14 or above70.

2．Holders of diplomatic passports or applicants who meet the requirements of diplomatic, official or courtesy visas.

3．Applicants who have already had their fingerprints collected at this Embassy are not required to provide fingerprints again within the following 5 years while applying for Chinese visas with the same passports.

4．Applicants for whom the collection of all 10 fingerprints are physically impossible because all their fingers are missing or permanently damaged.
